EAT WHOLE FRESH FOODS
Food can be a confusing and overwhelming topic for most people. We’re told contradictory things about what foods we should and shouldn’t eat, each and every day. A good starting place is to only consume WHOLE FRESH FOODS. Indulge in wide variety of fresh vegetables and fruit, fish, red meat, legumes, eggs, nuts, seeds and oils. Ensure each meal contains a combination of protein, carbohydrates from vegetables/fruits and healthy fats. Just remember, if we are going to consume grain-based carbs (bread/rice/pasta/noodles), we need to earn them, so make sure you’re doing ample physical work. To regulate blood sugar levels and eliminate cravings, we need to make sure we are eating every 2-4hrs. Apply the 80/20 rule, 80% good 20% not so, and you’re off to good start.
